Importing Video

I guess I thought I was relatively smart capturing and importing, but I have run into a wall and now I realize I still have a lot to learn. I am working on a slide/video presentation that includes pictures, music and short videos. No problems with pictures or music or even capturing analog video thru my VHS player (using another software).

BUT, is it possible to import files that were created and rendered for TV and burned to a disc using other software into PD 6? I have several discs that have a folder VIDEO_TS and within it a series of files. They play on a DVD player, but I need to know how to import them and incorporate them into my master presentation.

Is this possible? If so, how do I import/open them in PD 6?

Hi Cindy,

1. I've sent you a PM and you can email me.
2. Open the Video_TS folder and extract using copy and paste the vob files from the folder.
3. Not all the vob files will be the ones you want. Placing them on your hard drive in My Works will help PD6. You have to find out which of the Vob files you need simply by placing them in PD6.
4. Drag the video to the time-line and then edit.

Dafydd
