Version in MediaSuite 8

I hate to beat on this subject again but....
When I ordered Media Suite 8 it gave me a "Serial Number / Activation Key:" (16 characters). Power Director appears to need 30 characters to activate. Are these e-mailed at a later date?
Also is this why features are turn off, like adding track?
When I click on upgrade it wants me to spend another $60 to upgrade...is that just because it hasn't been activated?

I'm really hoping that Media 8 is all full versions. All I really need at this time is PowerDirector but for the price It made no sense to go with PD when suite was same price.

If power director is not full version can I do a exchange to PD

MediaSuite8 does not have a full version of PowerDirector it has a reduced capable version. The price you paid reflects that - which is a bit obvious I think.

The activation of MediaSuite will activate the version of PD you have.

Please approach customer support with your problem.

Can I "exchange" or refund for full version of PD8 Ultra?

Let me ask you this are all other features "full" versions?

If so I don't mind upgrading PD a least I "would have it all"

It was obvious ......about like buying lottery tickets and thinking about all the cool stuff I can get without paying for it!!! LOL

I seriously wouldn't bother contacting customer support, I did about 6 months ago with the same activation key problem, I was asked for more information which I sent, then asked for screenshots of what was being asked for which I also sent. I have never heard from CyberLink since.

I bought and downloaded both Media Suite 8 and later PowerDVD 10 from CyberLink so they have no excuse for not issuing me with a new 30 digit code, instead they chose to ignore me.

This issue was resolved five years ago. If you are having problems it is best to start a new thread. __________________________________
