Someone will definitely note I am new to CPD8. Have been looking, reading tutorials (where are the beginner ones) etc.
Have produced some DVD's with various success's but have some problems.
At moment am over 8:20hrs into producing 4432mb file to 4.7gb dvd.

1. Have put x4 mpg clips together after adjusting sound enhancements, video, titles etc.

2. Attached sreenshot tells story at moment.

This is so long I feel should cancel and start again.
Thanks
Peter

What are your system specifications? What is the original video format? Did you use video enhancement? All of these things can have a huge impact on how long it takes to create and burn a DVD. My first DVD's did, in fact, take that long, but newer computers should not even come close to that. __________________________________

Hi Peter,
I have always suggested to editors to split their project up.
1. Produce in your case to a number of smaller Mpeg2 DVD HQ
2. Bring the video back into PD and then create the DVD.

My guess is you have added various effects etc to your project which entails significant rendering by your PC. Splitting the project up would help.

A screen shot of your Project in the Timelines would be useful to see.

Links to look at - all of them please.

Jaime has suggested you provide a diagnostic of your set up - quite rightly to, as it'll give us some really useful data.
Please see the guide below. PART A and B apply.

You can not pinpoint the issue BUT you can give more detail of content and provide a visual image as well as a diagnostic of your set up. Please note that 3 (x100kb) images/files can be attached to your reply.
