possible solution for out-of-sync video?
[Post New]
Guys,

Finally took a shot at having my FIRST project without a single transition (my favorite is "No Effect").

On the plus side, no out-of-sync AUDIO, which is awesome. Must be indeed some kind of a glitch in the software that messes up the synchronization whenever applying transitions.

On the negative side, it took me 4hrs to complete a 9min clip, as I had to manipulate the ends of each clip and fade in and out audio, something that "No Effect" transition will take care of with a click of a button.

I manipulated clips by dragging the ends "in" with a mouse or by positioning the scrubber and using option "SPLIT" the video and deleting the unwanted part. Using the option "TRIM" was unbearable as I had no patience to wait until the new clip got initialized. I do not know how you guys do it. Please share the tips.

I think these are mentioned on the forum ... somewhere.

Use the full stop and comma to go forwards and backwards.

Use the Preview player Next Frame options (see the above short cuts mentioned).

Audio mixing room F9 shortcut, Use the fade in/out to reposition the audio "rubber band"

Ctrl+T for Split

Things like that, is that what you're after Andy?
