Hi, I have power director 8. For some unknown reason, when I have a movie file in my computer that I'm going to covert to mp4 for my ipod - it plays in english through my computer but once I import the file to Powerdirector to start coverting it, it plays in spanish. I can't find any settings to fix this. It's driving me crazy!!!
What should I do? Thanks .

Have you had Power Director 8 for some time? Have you tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, just in case there was some corruption in the install?

See below to uninstall and reinstall (instructions originally posted by our illustrious leader Dafydd).

Uninstall and reinstall of PowerDirector Try the following way to re-install PowerDirector:
A.) Start--> Programs -->Cyberlink PowerDirector --> Uninstall PowerDirector

b.) Start --> Run --> type "regedit" --> click "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" --> click "Software" --> locate "Cyberlink" ----> click the "+" (if you have more than one CyberLink product) -->Delete the "PowerDirector" folder

c.) Start --> Run --> type "regedit"--> click "Hkey_Current_user" --> click "Software" --> locate "Cyberlink" ----> click the "+" (if you have more than one CyberLink product) -->Delete "PowerDirector" folder.

D.) Delete C:\Programs Files\Cyberlink\PowerDirector And reboot your PC. After this, please install your PowerDirector

I think this is likely an issue with the VOB and being able to select the audio track in PD. What you may try is opening the file in a DVD ripper and removing all but the English track. __________________________________
