Hi, Andrew.
It's now apparent to me that
'allow SVRT on single IDR H.264 video' makes a great difference across the board for producing and burning. You know I knew about that box, but was not sure what it was used in conjuction with....
It didn't
seem to work right away. I had to burn a few times, either to a DVD Folder or to BD, b4 I was successful.
(My test project was composed of 5 projects which totaled 24180 MB of the max 24202 MB allowed by PD.)
Hope this is the way it will work hence forth.
I just now became aware that one can go straight to 'Creat Disc' and bring in either clips or projects.
(where have I been?.... dah!)
Thanks a great deal for the info.
My Canon has the first 4 of these recording settings like yours does.
I was planning to upgrade to a Canon that includes the MXP setting.
I saw a side-by-side comparison of the FXP to MXP and the MXP looked quite a bit better.
But , if you're saying that PD is not yet compatable with MXP files(?),
I'll have to put that idea on hold.
LP (5 Mbps) 12 hours 15 minutes
SP (7 Mbps) 9 hours 35 minutes
XP+ (12 Mbps) 5 hours 45 minutes
FXP (17 Mbps) 4 hours 10 minutes - Allows 1920 x 1080 Full HD Recording
MXP (24 Mbps) 2 hours 55 minutes - Allows 1920 x 1080 Full HD Recording
