Hi Richard,
I got mixed results on the same project file initially.
CanonHG21_MPEG-4_AVCHD_MXP_24Mbps_1920x1080_25p_DD2ch.m2ts
Green bar - yes in PAL, no in NTSC - the NTSC suffered a bit.
I then played around a bit more swapping the clips the motion was to be changed on and carrying out NTSC and PAL checks. I replicated the bug.
Slow Motion video with frame interpolated technology Looks to be the cause.
I also decided to exclude one of your selection in PowerTools for a PAL test, I retained Video Speed adjustment. Video played without issue.
I apologise for not being thorough enough the first time I check.
INFO from Richard:
Place two (2) copies of the video into the timeline.
Select the second video and add a power tool "video speed":
- reduce video speed by 0.5x
- check the slow motion video with frame interpolation
- check the "stretch audio"
Now produce using pretty much any profile you like and see if the lovely green bar appears in the second half of the video. Note it is not present in the preivew. I have tried several profiles all with the same result.
The source of the video tested are those provided by PowerDirector Editors who have posted their camera information and uploaded sample video clips.

I'll ask CyberLink R&D to look at the post here and see if they can replicate the bug Richard has found.
Thank you Richard.
