I agree. in fact, mp4 is a container (transport) no specific to nero. I tried all software and most of them propose this format. In fact, in xbox 360 (and that's my problem), the only format recognize of high definition file by usb or external device is mp4. Wmv is not proposed by ati stream for compression. All software except cyberlink, propose the mp4 file (MeGui, premiere, vegas, ...).

I'm going to buy powerdirector, because it's the only one to use the ati stream conversion for my ati HD 4850 card. But I'm a little disappointed because I want to convert my canon HF10 AVCHD files to mp4 HD 1080. This format is not possible in powerdirector. but why ?
For example, here are informations of a nero conversion but not using the ati stram:
