Quote Hi Cyx -

In PhD, the parent folder displays the total number of photos in that folder (including those in sub-folders & loose in the parent folder). Each sub-folder displays the number of photos in the subfolder (logically).

In the parent folder, Windows shows the total number of items (sub-folders & loose photos).

To me, it all adds up & doesn't cause confusion. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you've said.

Cheers - Tony

Thank you for your answer.
I found a solution to my "problem" ... i created a second subfolder
Hello,

i am a new user of Photo Director and i have a question regarding the import of a folder into the media library.

If I import the folder including the subfolders, then all photos are displayed in the top folder.

Example:

In Windows Explorer it is as followed:
Folder 1 - 500 photos
subfodler - 50 photos

In Photo Director:
Folder 1 - 550 photos
subfolder - 50 photos

The same happens if I import one folder after another.

Maybe it is a stupid question and it is just the media library works, but i find that very confusing

Maybe there is a setting possibility, that i haven't found yet?

Thanks for your help!

Best regards
Cyx
