Hello all,
I have an unusual situation. Whenever I select the "Presets" option under "Adjustments" tab, the Photodirector application locks up and must be forced restarted. This happens for both PD 9 and 10. I've tried reinstall and also make sure the directory has appropriate file permissions, but alas the issue continues.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

PhotoDirector 8, upgraded to latest patch - When I am done processing a photo and save it, sometimes PhotoDirector show the post-processed image of the photo and sometime the original in its interface. This happens regardless of uninstall, reinstall, and using other computers. It is fairly annoying as I don’t know if the file was saved or not and what it looks like if I need to reference it again. I have to go to Windows explorer to see the final results. Please advise.
I save my files in the original folder overwriting the original files.
Thanks in advance.

Dear PhotoDirector Team,
Why in the world would you provide an option such as "delete from drive" and remove the files completely? Why not just move them to the Recycle Bin? Twice now, I have accidentally deleted an entire folder of pictures permanently while thinking that I was deleting only one file. Yes, I should have been careful, but why not just move them to recycle bin in case it was an error on part of the user. It is terribly frustrating and now requires the user to use undelete utilities to recover the files. Unfortunately, none of the utilities are 100% effective in recovering all files without any issues.
I use variety of other photo processing programs and none of them remove the photos permanently. They move them to the Recycle Bin, allowing the user to easily recover accidentally deleted files.
PhotoDirector team, I love your program, except I hate this behavior in your program. At least put in a option in the settings to allow the user to pick if to delete from drive permanently or simply moving them to the recycle bin.
Thanks for your consideration.

Hello all,
In earlier versions of PhotoDirector, once a photo was processed and saved, the saved photo with changes was displayed in PhotoDirector. However, in PD8, once the photo is saved, the original copy (non-processed) of the photo shows up in the workspace. This is frustrating becuase any additional modification after the save look like they are beign done to the very first original insetad of the saved one.
Any work around or settings solution to this? I've looked and can't find anything.
Thanks in advance
