I wanted to buy PowerDVD 20 until I found out it no longer supports 3D. Bummer, but I thought okay, I'll just buy 19 instead... until I saw your post. Do you know if that statics/hiss when sound is loud issue is also present in PowerDVD 18? If not, I'll try to find where I can buy that version. No 3D is a no go for me in any case.

Powerdvd18:

Statics/hiss: No
Piucture quality: 4/5
3D quality:5/5
Sound quality: 5/5

Powerdvd 19 2126

Statics/hiss: Yes
Piucture quality: 5/5
3D quality:4/5
Sound quality: 3/5

Note

you could try demo version onpowerdvd 19, ignor 3d for now, test with serveral media files if there statics/hiss on your system.
Will powerdvd tech team consider an releaseing a 3D playback - update/patch only one time just for those who still wants it on powerdvd 20.

version 19 ok but sound issues (statics/hiss when sound is loud) still not been fixed.

Please, lease do it for us, the fans.smile
Will we see any form of steaming service in any form in the future?
powerdvd is great, and also needs to evolve, needs to be more and i like to see Cyberlink own media stick/device, just like ruku.
update your driver software to latest or back to previous driver that works.
Dolby Atmos in Powerdvd 20 likely no.

Powerdvd 20+ with Spatial sound or DTS Sound Unbound...possibly
close powerdvd app.

open amd / nvidia control panel, stay in background.

open task manager > details>

find amd / nvidia (gpu) & intel/amd (cpu).............now look for each with highest memory usage....right click....open file location.......copy link/address .

open microsoft setting.........system..........display...........graphic setting..……..desktop app / browse...…pop-up.....now past link...…….and select high preformace.....do same each for all and also powerdvd too set to high performance

now open powerdvd / pc mode....setting.....more video setting...…….change default hardware acceleration to amd…done.
It`s pretty much 50/50.

PowerDVD 18 Version 3010:
3D: 5/5
Video/image: 4/5
Audio/headphone:5/5

PowerDVD 19 Version 2126:
3D: 5/5
Vuideo/image: 5/5 (thanks to 64-bit, images just wow!)
Audio/headphone: 2/5 ( audio distortion, still not been resolved since released)

As i have both versions on my pc, i go with 18.
i noticed powerdvd so far removed options for headphone dolby.

since spatial headphone are currently avialable for users for free on windows10.

would powerdvd add option on next updates/powerdvd 20 release. for SPARTIALS HEADHPNE + MOVIE THEARTER MODE/LIVING ROOM

cause trueTheather headhphone audio sucks badly, refusing to downgrade to bad audio quality.
Quote My point is that advertising Windows 10 suport is misleading and Cyberlink should instead cleary state windows 10 suport doesn't include computers with NVIDIA cards. Anything else is actually very misleading. I guess cyberlink could add that users of POWERDVD19 can playback 3D blu rays with Nvidia cards if the user is willing to turn off automatic updates on Windows 10 and also install an older nvidia videocard driver. I guess both intel and AMD have solutions for 3D playback included in their drivers and software still. Cyberlink should let users know 3D playback is not something they are making possible through there software but requires 3rd party suport and drivers that contain the programing code that allows for 3D movies to be played.

i think issues relates to your pc drivers, my 3d playback still work as intended, as i did corectly updated every drvier recently via drivers website.
am using
lenova all in one pc, with
Intel HD 530 Driver DCH 26.20.100.6912
Nvidia 950a GeForce 431.36 WHQL driver
Benq W1080st+ projector 2017 model, 106" screen
win 10 insider preview 1903 with "3d on" in display

no issues, even viewing experience been enchanced and 2x better than nvidia driver 430.58.
i always do clean install on all drivers updates.
Can we get a future update on 3d playback please.

reason why.... powerdvd 18 3d playback i noticed were more enhanced, improved, has more depth, popup effect and it way ahead compared to a newer version powerdvd 19 which are lacks behind.
Am also facing same issue, powerdvd18 audio no cracking, but povwerdvd19 annoying cracking
powerdvd works, it`s source feeds that unable to.
It run perfectly fine

first what version of windows 10 you have........ creator or inside build version (fast or slow ring)?
this may help

Windows 10 Insider Preview builds- HEVC video codec

scroll down to Improving HEIC support and download link via Windows Store
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/88345/Intel-HD-Graphics-530

what`s your gpu? nvidia / ati or just cpu intel?

cause if it cpu intel, intel hd 530 DOES NOT SUPPORT 3D.
There are other options still

3D headphone, Spatial headphone. ( 100% identical to atmos headphone ).

hopefully it`s added to powerdvd 18 and still a win-win without atmos licence.
Powerdvd is best option for 3d iso, using lenovo aio idealcentre with intel i7 6th gen & nvidia 950a intergrate graphic + BenQ W1080st+ projector & 106" projector screen.

need to do 2 thnigs to achive your goal.

1. download latest intel & nvidia drivers manually vial website.
2. temporary disable windows defenders, install nvidial driver, choose clean installation, then move on to install new intel driver,

3. to get perfect 3d you need to completely disaple all intel 3d settings, and max all nvidia setting + chose geforce gtx950a as physx processor.
Audio output:
Dolby Atmos Headphone: on/off.
Dolby Headphone: current option.
As Windows now supports Atmos & spatial headphone, could cyberlink staff add option for people who`s has atmos / spatial , just as people who does has hdr support too.
.................

could the team gives us bit hints on powerdvd 18 & waht to expects and date of release, thankscool
