Can I print the Blu Ray Menu onto a printable Blu Ray Disk from PD16 please?
Quote
Quote Before you go further, perhaps the message is in error or the disc is. Try burniing the project to either an ISO file or Folder set. That would tell you if the project is OK.

You can the burn the BR from the ISO or folder using the trial version of Power2Go 11 or IMGBurn. There is no need to run your project back through the encoding.

Here is the information on Power2GO 11. Be careful with IMGBurn, it wants to add on some junk programs ut it works well and is free.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have created an ISO file and burned to the BD-RE disc that I am using by using Roxio NXT Pro 5; I did have to purchase the Roxio blu-ray plugin to get it to work. I tried it with PowerToGo 11, which I have the full version of, but again that didn't recognise a blu ray disc. It seems that none of the current Cyberlink products work with blu ray so why have a blu ray option in the disc production settings? The blu ray writer and disc are obviously OK with other software so thinking of ditching Cyberlink after many year and trying Pinnacle.

I burned the individual video to Blu Ray but then created a disc with menus and cannot burn the full schmutter?
Thank you
I will check that before I try again.

Regards

Mike
I am Using the Paid Version
SR No VDE131022-01
Power Director 12.0.2420.0
1 Opened New Project
2 Imported Video
3 Created Menu
4 Selected each menu entry and created chapoters
5 Renamed Each Chapter as it was Created.
6 Repeated Steps 4 and 5 for every menu Entry.
7 Clicked Create Disk.
8 Selected Single Layer Blu Ray.
9 Tried to Click the Velocity 4 check and the other high speed options but they were greyed out

I have ESET Smart Security 6
There are no separate Codecs whatsoever
I had Corel X6 but that was thoroughly Uninstalled.
I was USING a TDK X2 BD RE Disk.

Please note I have tried to install the patch but received the error that I do not have the right version installed to do that.
Blu Ray Single Layer.

PD12 has just crashed and the windows compatibility assistant has operated.
Will I need to reverse the changes that the compatibility assistant has made which will presumably slow everything down to a crawl
Hello
Yes I tried that and I checked that I have Version 12.2420.0. The Link says patch for Build 2420. I selected PD12 from the drop down.

I ran the downloader, ran the install wizard but I received the Alert message " You do not have the required version installed on your machine the update will be aborted"

Guess what ! it was aborted.

Well I thought that was the answer but when the program finnished rendering and I was able to try it nothing happened.
I held Control and Plus down as I moved the timeline slider.
The previeiew slider moved in sync with it but the image stayed as it was.
I held just Control Down and tried again still nothing should I be using Control and Plus and Alt togther because if so I will be a bit short of fingers
I am new to Cybershot Power Director 12.
When rendering I found the Velocity 4 options greyed out in the create disk page.
My PC has an I7 Processor Win 7 64 Bit and 8 GB of Ram.
I am impressed that whereas a competitor's program never exceeded 24 % of processor capacity PD12 use 100% and 4GB of Ram.
Is there a preference that needs changing to get the full hardware acceleration or does it take a different Video Card?
Yes Thank you that does help.

Mike
I have my movie in the timeline.
When I move the scrubber the preview marker moves but the preview video does not.
Can I make it move with the scrubber?
