Hello,
Later (PC only) versions of PhotoDirector use a FaceMe engine to detect faces in photos. If you imported all your scanned photos into PhotoDirector, you can then scan all the imported photos at once for faces.
Once the scan is complete, you need to manually go through each detected face and add the names. PhotoDirector will group all of the tagged faces together, so you will only have to do this once for each detected face.
Help info here: https://help.cyberlink.com/stat/help/photodirector/365/enu/04_02_02_tagging_faces.html
Then when you export the photos, PhotoDirector puts the inputted name for the face tag in the "People" field for the photos metadata. See the attached screenshot.
Let me know if you any more questions.
Cheers

Hello,
PhotoDirector 365 (PC and Mac) subcribers and Director Suite 365 subscribers can now update their PhotoDirector to version 14.8.
New feature includes:
- Use the improved People Beautifier tools to beautify the people in your photos.
- Create your own custom images in the AI Image Generator.
To update to PhotoDirector 14.8, open CyberLink Application Manager (CAM) program and on the My Programs tab, click the Install button next to PhotoDirector.

Hello,
This is mostly likely caused by a Windows update, as the restore point rolled your computer back to a previous version. Try updating your GPU driver to the latest version. Get the update from the manufacturer, not from Windows.
If that doesn't work, please contact support using the link in my signature.

Hello,
What happened to the media? Did you remove it from the library? The only way you can restore the media library is during installation you need to ensure you keep your personal settings when prompted. If you removed the media from the library, there is no way to recover it.
You can just try rescanning your hard drive to import all the media you want.

Bonjour,
Hello,
We passed on the CS codes to CyberLink and they informed us that they did respond and you replied saying the download link does not work. After checking, the download link is still active and working so you should have no problems.
Please double check the replies and try the link with different web browsers to download your software.

Hello,
It doesn't look like AudioDirector has this function. I also don't think copying content from the mix room to the edit room will work as you are hoping.
If you have PowerDirector, you can do this quite easily with Export Range. You just select the range of the audio file you want to export, and then click the Export Range button and export it as an audio file. More info here:
https://help.cyberlink.com/stat/help/powerdirector/365/win/enu/19_01_00_producing_range.html
Obviously, this is assuming you have PowerDirector.

Hello,
There is no way to change the detection threshold in PhotoDirector. It could be because the photo is a little blurry. Maybe try using the Deblur or Image Enhance features on the photo first and see if it makes a difference.

Hello,
Not sure if you have the casting channel installed on Roku, i.e. "PowerDVD Casting channel":
https://help.cyberlink.com/stat/help/powerdvd/22/pc-mode/enu/05_01_00_casting-media-to-a-st.html
If yes, then not sure, so best to contact CyberLink Support as well:

Hello,
If the audio is via bitstream then it is decoded by your audio hardware (GPU and A/V receiver). If your audio device does not decode the audio it will fall back to player software decoding.
PowerDVD supports up to Dolby True HD pass through, so you should check what's the maximum bitrate your audio hardware supports to ensure it is compatible with the decoding. Bitstream relies on the hardware mainly, not the software.

Hello,
The codec of the MKV video is AV1, which PowerDVD does not currently support. Check the supported formats section of the help for more info:
https://help.cyberlink.com/stat/help/powerdvd/22/pc-mode/enu/03_01_01_supported_file_formats.html
Feel free to contact CyberLink and request this format be added in a future release:

Hello,
What are you selecting in the Select the video encoding format and quality drop-down in Video and Audio Settings? Maybe try "Smart Fit" if you haven't yet.

Hello,
The behaviour is the same in the Deluxe version. Filters are turned off when applying particles, and vice versa. I believe this is because of the GPU usage required for both features is quite high.
You can contact CyberLink support for more details:

Hello,
No, it doesn't look like this feature is available. It is a good suggestion though, so you should contact CyberLink and suggest it in the next version using the first link in my signature.

Even ARM SoC devices now all use x64 versions of apps (I'm not talking about those low-end devices!), please STOP!

Hello,
My guess is they don't view it as a "problem", but rather the updated design. Your best option would be to contact CyberLink about this and include screenshots that show why it is an issue for you. You can contact them here:

Any response or answers Cyberlink?[/quotePostId]
Hello,
If you want a response from CyberLink, you'll need to contact them directly using the below link (this is a user to user based forum, as outlined here). You said you tried everything, but did you try CyberLink Customer Service?
https://membership.cyberlink.com/support/customer-services.do
The original download links for the perpetual versions expire after 30 days, so you'll need to contact CyberLink and request another. What you downloaded was the trial version for YouCam 10, not the installtion files for version 9.
