You guys are the best! Thank you so much!!!! <3
Oh, I understand what you are saying, my apologies. Thank you. Do you know if there is a way to do a super super fast zoom in/out on a video clip? I mean, super fast and super zoomed. It seems the zoom in effect is rather gradual. Thanks!
I understand that, thank you, that's why I used the term 'clip'. I am not talking about image. I am talking about movie clip.
Hello Awesome Forum,

I see online on the magic wand, there should be Magic Motion included in the list of things when a clip is highlighted. I don't have Magic Motion. I am wondering what other effects and things might be missing from my program that I don't know about. What do you need from me to help?

Thanks!

Nitai
Oh, I understand what you're saying, thank you.
You are awesome! That looks great! Thanks for testing that for me, superstar!

One question though, I don't understand the difference between what you call 'chroma key video' and 'unmodified video'. In my understanding the original video with green screen goes on track two, and the colour background goes on track one, so what's that on track three now? Please advise.

Thanks again, and God bless you!
Yes, I tried that. The edges are, well, there is a whitish outline, not too bad, but not desirable. The other way I found to do it was by taking out all saturation except for the green channel. I just have to make sure I'm not wearing green and hopefully the camera won't pick up my eyes either, haha. Thanks!
Thanks, Barry.

Yes, I understand about green screen, I know how to do it, that is not the issue. What I am wondering is:

I am the subject in front of greenscreen and will transfer myself onto a colourful motion background... I know how to do that, no problem. BUT:

- Once the two are merged can I make the subject (me) black and white while the background remains in colour?

OR

- In the original green screen video is there a way to separate me from the green screen so that I can change myself to black and white while keeping the green green.

I hope I'm explaining this easily...

Thank you. I'm hoping so, but I'm not sure how to isolate me from the green screen to do that... Any ideas?
Hello Awesome Forum!

So my idea is to use chroma key for backgrounds with me as the subject. Once the greenscreening is done and I am successfully on top of the colour background, can I change myself to black and white while keeping the background in colour?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

With respect,

Nitai
Thank you, King.

Thanks so much for your input... I understand the first paragraph, but my newbie mind does not understand the second paragraph. I'm not yet savvy enough to understand the meaning behind tech facts nor the innuendo of humour if that's conversely what was intended.

Thank you, Barry.

I did a search of the topic, and only found one post. The poster mentioned that YouTube was asking for proof of permission for the effects used, and the moderator said they will work on it, but there has been no public resolution. What to do when they ask for official permission?

Thanks again,

Nitai
Hello!

In the user agreement it says we agree to not use the program for commercial purposes. If I am using Power Director to edit my original music video, does that mean that I cannot apply for YouTube monetization? Is that considered commercial purposes?

Please advise, and thank you kindly!

Thank you, Dafydd and Tony! Very helpful indeed!
Thank you, Jim,

Yes, I have 161 GB of free hard drive space, thankfully! Thanks for that!

Hello There!

I downloaded the free trail already on this computer last year before I got my current camera, so that's not an option at this point to solve.

My camera is a Canon SX280HS, which is not listed on your specs page. Can anyone tell me if it will be compatible without me having to go through a trial pre-purchase process?

Thank you!

Nitai
Thank you kindly for your replies!

I spoke to a computer tech shop and told them the information you gave me, very helpful!

I will purchase the extra RAM required, I'm glad that's fixable.

In regards to my processor, he said it might make the video editing process slow, but it won't cause glitchy-ness or freezing, which is all I care about. If it takes 10 seconds to import a clip instead of 2 seconds, so be it, if it means it's not imperative for me to purchase a new lap top when this one is fairly new as it is.

Thanks again!
Excellent! Thank you, kindly!

This was a pre-purchase question prerequisite requirement. LOL.

Have a blessed and blissed day!
Hi,

Not as in reverb, but as in a repeating echo?

Hello,

I want to purchase PD12 DIRECTOR'S SUITE, however, I have noticed many people have issues with lag and glitchyness, which the moderators say may be remedied by analysis of system and/or upgrades.

My computer savvy is limited to graphics / video programs, not actual hardware specs, etc. (as an artist). I do not have the time to deal with glitches, etc. post purchase. If I can deal with issues now to relieve anticipated frustration, that would be nice.

Can you please, dear moderator, tell me if I have the right system requirements? Attached is a picture of what I think you need to see. When I look at the page where you list the specs for me to analyse myself, it's all in a different language to me, I have no clue. If there's more information you need to know, please tell me where I can find it and I'll be happy to send what you need, and happy for your support.

I've heard updating drivers can cause issues, is this recommended? Which drivers and how? If not necessary, rather avoid.

Also, my camera is a Canon SX280HS, which is not listed on your specs page. I had downloaded a trial version last year prior to getting this camera, and I really don't want to go through that again, so if you have knowledge on that score, I'd be grateful.

With respect,

Nitai
