My Power Director does not work, it freezes all the time, it freezes and crashes when I try to save my 2.5 hour project.
I called this company many times and nobody answers the phone, all you can do is leave a message but nobody calls back.
After months dealing with the stupidity I finally paid the USD 30 for a paid customer support for 2 months. That was 2 weeks ago. I lost the phone number where to call and nowhere in the website it shows what number that is. - except for the number where nobody answers the phone and you must have a TS number, which I either dont have it or I dont know what it is. I have a VS number.
So now I paid 30 dollars for support that I can't even have. After I finish this project which has been taking over 1.5 year to finish because the program always freezes, I will never use this stupid company again.
Your software is good but your disregard to your customers is pathetic.

Hi Stevek, thanks for your message.
I am still confused.
I "produced" the project, it took a few hours. Now what?
Where's the movie? All I got is a PDS file, which I don't even know what that is.
But I just want to have the movie, produced and all and I want to view it as a movie, without PD's story line or the software that I made the movie with.
I understand that after you "produce" it, the next step is to burn a DVD, but I am not burning a DVD, I just want the movie as a file in my computer. Where's that file? When I open the PDS file that was created after I produced, it comes with the editing/creating PowerDirector software. I don't want that, I am done with making the movie, now I want to see it as a file, full screen, played by, say, Windows Media Player.
Help this dumb guy I am!
thanks!!

Hi there,
I've tried to look up in this forum and FAQ but failed to understand how to save my movie to an external hard drive.
I can't burn a DVD because after producing it, it tells me that my file is too big for my DVD.
My file : 9084 DVD: 8500
Therefore I just wanted to produce it and have it in my external hard drive (and in the computer Hard drive as well)
However in the "Produce" page it does not give me that option. The options are burn a DVD or put in different devices under "DEVICE" but none of them apply.
My movie is 2:20 minutes long with hundreds of stills and high definition video. I want to get the best video/picture quality for the project but I do not have a blue ray recorder - I'd prefer to save in a hard drive.
so the questions are:
1) How to produce and save finished video in a hard drive
2) Does saving in a hard drive produces the best output ? Better than a Blueray disc?
Windows 7
PowerDirector 10
My computer has 1 TB memory, my external drive has 3 TB memory.
Thanks for your help!!!
