Hi Dafydd

Thanks for getting back to me. Isn't that the same as removing PD11/Quicktime, deleting the left over folders then re-running the install?

I currently do the method you mention - here's the contents of the "bits" directory from the extracted RAR file:

Volume in drive D is HDD
Volume Serial Number is A051-4ABB

Directory of d:\Users\James and Julia\Desktop\PowerDirector11Ultimate_CL.2215_GM3123206_VDE121026-03

So to sum it up, i've tried:

Removing PD11 and Quicktime and all PD11 extra programs it installs.
Deleted any reference to Cyberlink and Apple off my system ie
c:\Program Files\Cyberlink
c:\Program Files (x86)\Cyberlink
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple

Anything in AppData\Roaming too.

I then use CCleaner to remove any registry items and temp files.

Reboot.

Navigate to d:\Users\James and Julia\Desktop\PowerDirector11Ultimate_CL.2215_GM3123206_VDE121026-03\setup.exe

Install.

I've also tried downloading the trial from Cyberlinks website and that also crashes too.

heehee that's mornings for you

Replied to you
What information do you require?
Just rolled back to the 12.10 WHQL drivers. Same issue :/

I am getting pretty fed up now and I can't claim a refund as I activated the product!

Any PD11 cleaner tools?

Maybe this will help. Found in FAQ in Support. IT was the only cleaner tool reference I could find for you. I hope it works for you.

Thanks - will try that

I always install as Administrator. Using the latest beta drivers from ATI/AMD's site too.
Still no luck. Did as you advised, as well as what Support advised too. Same problem.

This PC is a new build, built at the weekend and hasnt got much software on it.

Any other ideas?

Any PD11 cleaner tools?

Thanks
Thanks - will try it again tonight and see how I get on.

Will update you in the evening.
Hi guys

I just bought PowerDirector 11 Ultimate and when I load it up, I get the following error "cyberlink clqtkernelclient32 has stopped working". I've removed QT, uninstalled PD11, downloaded latest QT from Apple's website and installed it, then installed PD11 again - and patched it to the latest release... and I still get that error.

How can I stop it?

Thanks!

James
