Hello, can someone tell me how to highlight, or circle, or otherwise spotlight a particular space or person on a PowerDirector video?
Specifically, I'm uploading football highlights, and want to circle or spotlight a player on the screen before the play starts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you. Those links were very helpful.
I have just one issue remaining: I have the video and audio running now, most of the time without a glitch, but now the new problem: When I produce the video as an .mpeg2 video, in 2D, the video, still images, and transitions all come out perfect...but the audio is completely missing.
It's as if there's a "mute" button that has been pushed...except it hasn't. Not sure why the audio is missing.
Any advice?
Thanks again to all for your assistance!

Bubba, thank you for taking the time to respond.
I know that Quicktime is updated to the latest version. I have no idea how to see if my video card or audio card are updated.
Can you tell me where to find, and how to check?
I'm using a Dell Latitude D830 laptop, running Windows XP Professional.
Thanks again!

I have a complex project consisting of multiple video sources with sound-on-tape, background music in the form of mp3 audio, voiceover audio also in mp3 format, and still images.
When playing back in the editing room, I'm getting a lot of hiccups in the audio, and sometimes with the video.
Sometimes the audio will freeze in the middle of a section, and sometimes the audio will continue unabated, but the video will freeze.
Consequently, those hiccups and misfires are there when I try to produce a final copy for upload to the web, and when I try to burn a CD.
The chuckle-heads at Cyberlink have been no help at all. One of them tried to say I have to update my sound and graphic cards. I have NO idea how to do that.
Also, I saw a PD 10 patch available as of Dec. 28. Will downloading that patch affect my project? I don't want to lose my work...I have many, many, many hours put into this already.
Thank you in advance!!!!!

Hello...
I have put together a nearly 5-minute production, including video, slide-show using still images, and multiple audio sources, all in .mp3 format.
The audio is performing just fine when I insert it into the timeline and play it back from the editing room. But when I produce the final version of my movie/slideshow, the audio intermittently skips (as does the video from time to time), or it is simply not there at all.
I burned a CD of my production yesterday, and the audio quality was fine, except for the few skips.
When I create a mpeg-2 movie, however, for upload to the internet, the video and still shots are absolutely perfect, complete with transitions and effects...but the audio is completely missing. Not distorted or static, but simply not there....complete silence.
Can anyone please advise?
Thank you...
