I don't see anything really peculiar in the video specs. I downloaded some samples from here https://www.tomstechtime.com/mavicair2 and pretty much the same specs as yours except for fps and they work fine in my PD20. Obviously takes a little while for shadow file generation because of the high 100+Mb/s bitrate.
You might try deleting shadow files manually in pref and try again.
Jeff
Thank you for your input. I will give it a try and keep you posted.
QuoteProbably more related to video file specifics vs anything in dxdiag. Share a small sample of the mp4 files to see if others have issue importing or shadow file generation, or as a minimum, share MediaInfo https://mediaarea.net/MediaInfoOnline file specifics via attaching the text file.
If sharing not viable, encode with common video specifics to a mp4 container via HandBrake and they will probably work in PD20 without issue.
Jeff
Attached please find more information on the mp4 file I am using. The filming is taken from DJI Mavic Air 2 UAV. I never had any problems with the 4K format in Powerdirector only generating shadow files.
I have a lot of 4K mp4 files for a project. When I try to import these files, nothing happens. In the meantime, the shadow-file generating process is stalling.
I have two video files AVI 1.5Gb each. When I try to burn a DVD Disc for both files with SMART FIT, the software accepts only one and from 1.5Gb it increases to 4.7GB. I cannot understand. The software should include both files.
Quote:There is plenty of free disk burning software. Cyberlink has Power2Go, there are free versions of Power2Go. If you are a Silver Member you can download a free version of Power2Go.
Just search for Disk Burning software.
I usually use Nero Burning Software however it cannot circumvent the problem.
I also use Nero Burning ROM. (It is not free).
The problem of final size on the DVD is because of the standard for a DVD Video Disk.
Only MPEG2 is used. The Bit rate is about 8-10 Mbps.

Quote:Must use WaveEdior, select the audio in the timeline, click the button, Edit Audio.
You must copy the audio from one channel to another
Watch the video
OK. Thanks. However I discovered settings within the camcorder to switch both channels into one.
I record video clips with my Canon XA10. When I use an external microphone and transfer video clips to PD11, audio comes out only from one speaker on my PC. How can I duplicate the sound for the other speaker in order to hear the audio stereo?
Quote:David: I have looked at your dxdiag file and nothing jumps out at me. I am running two GTX580s in SLI and I note that your computer appears to have two GTX450s. I am running the nvidia 310.70 drivers without problems. I know that there is a more recent driver, but I always wait until I am certain that video driver updating is not going to cause me PD11 problems.
There was one post that came to mind where SteveK recommended reducing the dpi settings and that solved a problem, not quite the same as yours, but I was just wondering whether it might be an issue. There is definitely something knocking down your GPUs, which are more than adequate for video editing. Is your SLI enabled? I have had it both on enabled and disabled and haven't seen your problem either way.
Here is the link to the thread that SteveK responded to:
I will be very interested to find out what the problem is?
Hope this is of some help. Have a great day.
Regards,
-Phil
Phil thanks for your reply. The rendering now is working quite ok and there seems to be no problems. Reducing the percentage of FONT size definitely solved 90% of the problems I was experiencing.
