Thanks for the responses. I am trying to upload through PD using the other persons sign in. I know it is correct because I created it for her and I have signed in and out of the account on youtube using the info.

I will transfer it to another file and try from there.

Again thank you
I have created a new private account for a client to upload her finished product. I have successfully upload to my youtube account, but when I try with hers, I keep getting invalid username/password??Will Cyberlink only let you upload to youtube using your own info, or should I be able to upload to any account??

Thanks for the help that I know will be coming!!

Scott

thanks for your interest in helping me. I had to give up and rebuild the project on a second computer to get it done. I will trouble shoot this other issue later, now.
Thanks again for your willingness.

Just tried changing resolution and that had no affect. I have made several DVD's before without this problem??

Thanks again for trying to help.
yes I did. this is a really strange deal? Thanks for the reply.

I have just finished editing a project and went to "Create Disc" but when I try to preview after selecting a menu, the menu doesn't appear at all. I even burned a short part of the project and the menu's aren't showing up.
This is an emergency as I need this project done by morning!!!!
Any ideas appreciated.

Scott
The training video really helped me to accomplish my goal. Although a little time consuming, it does do what I need it to do.
FYI for anyone following this, you can select either a square or a circle for a blur shape, then it becomes a matter of sizing and then dragging and dropping the "blur" where you want it. You then just go to the next keyframe if the target has moved and start over, (just follow the tutorial.)
Thanks again Carl312

PS; I transfer old 8mm & 16mm film to dvd. I have had a few customers requesting this ability when I was using Studio, and a few since switching to PD.
I appreciate everyone's comments and suggestions. I will give your tutorial a try, Carl312, and see what I can learn.
Thanks again everyone.

Is there a way in PD10 to "fog out" private areas on baby bathing film. I have a client that has lots of footage of his babies being bathed the first time, etc, but of course would like to cover private areas to avoid embarrassment to viewers.
Thanks,
Scott
I have PD9 installed on 2 other computers and works fine. On this computer pd9 will give this message about 90% of the time when trying to open.
Tech Support had me uninstall/reinstall with antivirus disabled. Now this error is down to about 40%.
The reason I am having to open so many times is also an issue with PD9 freezing after 3 or 4 edits are made and I have to go to task manager and stop the program.
Attached are my dxdiag and dxdiag64.
I wrote in about the failure to open and previous help said to install QuickTime update, which helped for a very short time?

Thanks,

Scott
PS; I am new and can't seem to now find how to attach dxdiag, even though I have done this before on this computer??
Thanks Watercolor,

I have just resolved my issues. The first problem turned out to be a hard drive on verge of collapse that was causing issues, and then the second problem I resolved when I recaptured the video on the camcorder and then it worked, so something must have become corrupt in the video file.
I am happy to say that on Sunday afternoon on Sept. 25, 2011 that everything is working great. I can't speak to any other future point in time!
My projects randomly hang up while creating a dvd, whether it is rendering, or if I import a project to burn. Any ideas on what I can try.
Thanks,
Scott61
Thanks so much Rocket-Scientist.
I have been trying to watch the tutorials on the website, but I can't seem to get them to play at all????

I believe though, that your help is what I really needed. Thanks again
Scott61
I have resolved the issue on my own, I hope. I am new to this software and just realized that if I "produce" the movie first in MPEG4, that it showed resolve the interlace problem.

I am now rendering the video, and it will take about 6 hours. If someone believes that this won't make a difference, please let me know.

Thanks
My camera video is 1080i. I don't know what PD9 is. Could you please tell me how to reset the field order? I have sort of fixed the problem by changing my camcorder output to 480i, but that isn't the way I want it.
Thanks for the reply.

A little over a month ago I contacted this forum about this same problem on my older toshiba laptop. Now I have the same issue with my new HP Pavilion laptop, with independent graphics card. I tried to find my old post, and the good responses I got, but I can't come across them.

I have attached both dxdiag files for your review. I remember that this was related to the settings I had in PD9, but I can't remember what configuration I was told to use.

Thanks for everyone's help before, and I am sure this will get resolved again.

Thanks,
Scott
With all of your help I belive my issue is resolved????? I don't know if it was any one thing, or a combintation of things, but it seems to be working well right now.

Again, thank you all for helping me.
Scott61
Thanks for the response rocket man. I don't know if that is it or not. How do I check to see what my camcorder is set too, and what PD9 is set too?
It is a very good idea to check, I just am not sure right off how to do it. I will explore some on my own, or until you, or someone else, gets back to me.

Thanks,
Scott61
Jamie, I was wrong. The lines are still in the rendered video, but maybe not as noticable. I attached another clip for you, or others, to look at. This very same clip looks great when played from the camcorder to the TV, and also in windows movie maker.

I have another 10 minutes until tech support opens up.

Thanks again,
Scott61
Thanks for the response Jaime. I am now mystified! After rendering the video on this new computer the lines are no longer visible, but on the old computer they didn't go away??
I am attaching a few seconds of video so you can see what is happening. In this particular peice the video camera wasn't quite synced to the projector and I got the dark roll line, but that is not what I am refering too.
I am happy that this new laptop did render my video in 7.5 hours compared to the 12 - 14 hours it took before!
Hope this sample tells you something. I am going to ask tech support if I can download the software since I still feel that is where the problem is??

Thanks,
Scott61
I just purchased this new laptop today with 1.5Ghz independent video card and much faster processor than previous laptop I was having various troubles on.
On both laptops my HD video has horizontal lines, or distortions, running across the full length of the video. I have played the vidoe directly from the camcorder to the TV and it is fine. I also just used Media Player to play the video and it plays fine.
I have the most recent update to PD9. The only thing that is the same is that the software on both computers came off of the same disk.
I haad talked extensively with tech support when I was using the older computer and they had no idea what was happening. Now I have a brand new laptop and the same issue. (I haven't even tried to render vidoe on this new one yet to see if it is much faster than the 14 hours my old one took to render vidoe.)
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Scott61
