PowerDirector 19 freezes unable to save project

When I try to save a project, PowerDirector freezes every time when I press save, it shows "saving thumbnails"the progress bar only moves approximately 20% then stops. I can work on a project for hours then lose it all because I am unable to save my work
There is more that enough free space on my hard-drive (876GB free space) graphics card drivers are up-to-date
Can any offer any solutions please this is driving me crazy

Sounds like something's wrong with your project. Look at this discussion and see if you can open up an earlier version and successfully save it as a new project. If that works you should be able to continue editing and saving normally.
