Problems playing Blue Ray Star Trek "Search for Spock" and "Voyage Home" movies

I purchased PowerDVD 9 Ultra and it works pretty good, except that it hangs on loading the Star Trek "Voyage Home" and Star Trek "Search for Spock" movies.. Other movies, I.E. Valkyrie, Donny Darko, Planet Earth all load and play fine. I ran BD advisior and have all green lights for HDCP requirements. When I had the old PowerDVD 7 installed the Star Trek movies played just fine. I suspect the problem with the Star Trek movies is due to copy protection because I am able to play the Star Trek movies using anyDVD (I got anyDVD for my wife's computer because she has an older non HDCP compliant monitor) in concert with PowerDVD 9, but I should not have to use anyDVD on my system since my system is fully HDCP compliant.

In a nutshell the problem is that the Star Trek movies just hang at 99% when loaded (no errors they just hang).. my god man only 1 more percent to go!!!! But when I use anyDVD the Star Trek movies load and play fine with PowerDVD9.

Newer titles like Valkyrie play flawlessly with PowerDVD9 WITHOUT the need to use anyDVD.

I had this problem running from one of the accounts on my machine. I stopped powerdvd at 99% (ctrl-alt-del), then I seem to have fixed it by starting powerdvd from the start menu and then clicking on play. It started playing at about 75% read.

Note. I also turned off keyboard support for bd-j at the same time, but I don't think this was a reason for it starting to work.

Update:

I ran the Microsoft cleanup tool to totally remove the old powerDVD7 and then ran System Mechanic to cleanup the registry. I also used GameDr Laser Lens cleaner on my Blue Ray drive to clean up the lens.

Now all movies in the Star Trek Trilogy: "Wrath of Khan", "Search for Spock" and "Voyage Home" Play just fine on PowerDVD 9 WITHOUT the need to use anyDVD.

Thanks for your help.

Another update:

Inserting the NEW Star Trek movie just released has seemed to wipe out the AACS keys and now I get stuck in the update the AACS key loop. This has affected all blu-ray movies. The only way to play blu-ray movies now is to use anyDVD running in the background with PowerDVD 9.
