I'm not sure what folder tree you see has 170GB in it. But, pref > General > "Manual Delete" and then select all and delete will delete PD created temp files that could be scattered in a multitude of folders and locations depending how you change and manage the pref > File > Export folder:. If by chance you are saving your own produced files and or Create Disc files in some folder that makes up your 170GB, that's for you to clean up.

Additionally, disk space has nothing to do with memory.
