Hello all,

I have an issue with the forum that I am wondering if it is only me or are others experiencing the same.

When I navagate here and view any topic, the forum marks all topics read when I return to the front page. (not the forum main page)

EG:
1) From the forum main page i go to this page (Power Director 18 & 365). I will see a list of new topics.
2) Click on a topic to read.
3) When done, click the back button to return to Power Director 18 & 365. When I do this, I am returned to the correct page but all topics are marked as read. No new postings.

Browser - Edge and Chrome both show the same result.

Is it just me? Just wondering.

Thanks, Hal

I see the same behavior and I'm sure it's related to the recent forum changes that have been going on for at least 3 weeks.

This issue started this week for me, but I think the previous 2 issues were much worse as they caused messages to be lost and otherwise kept the forum from being accessed.

It seems like every time they fix one issue here, another one or two pop up yell

Thanks for the response. Glad to know it is not me alone.

I tried the link near the top (Forum Index >>PowerDirector 18 & 365) once and it may be the answer. We may have tolearn to click the link above rather than the Back arrow in the browser.

May have appeared to work, but that has issue too.

Not sure what link optodata meant to post with "changes", obviously not the PD15 hardware encode link he did quote, but perhaps this one https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/82377.page#post_box_339248 In addition to some of the last noted errors there, if one searches for a message and then clicks "View message" you can get a blank page if a recent post as the url construct is bad, however, if an older message it will display fine.

Basically, just ongoing issues that must be really challenging to resolve!

Yes, I had meant to link to the 403 Forbidden thread you referenced. That's also easier to find now that the moderator has moved this thread to the same Community Forum Issues forum

May be just my old eyes but I find the forum text quite difficult to read. For me, the contrast of light text against the white background is not enough contrast and washes out. It would be great if there was a dark mode or much deeper and darker text. Just sayin...

Looks like the issue with the poorly constructed url noted above and in the link when a message posted may have been resolved. It's been ok for me for a couple of days now.
