Powerdirector How To Fix Greyed Out Fast Rendering Technology

I just recently had this problem after a PC crash. When I'd want to Produce a video either SVRT, Quick Sync or even Hardware encoding would be grey out for Fast Rendering Technology with either resolution (mine was 1920x1080 but the rest were fine).
I thought I'd share this with others since this fix was hard to find. I have Powerdirector 14 but I believe this can work for other versions
Close Powerdirector


Open regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER
> SOFTWARE
>CYBERLINK
>CES_FUNCTIONLOGGER
>DATA
CHANGE 1 TO 0

This process was covered in this 4 year old post. That was my introduction to the solution and I have referred other users to it since then, but I agree with BTC and tomasc that this description is more concise
