Issues with audio

I am trying to make phone calls with Google Voice and record them using Youcam and my webcam. I am using a Logitech usb headset with headphones and a mic. However, I can barely hear the person on the other end in the recording. It seems that it is only recording my microphone and not my speakers. How do I fix this?

That is correct. YouCam only records the mic input from what I know.

You can try using the U Messenger app to do all this, i.e. have a chat/meeting and then record the audio on both sides.

It's free.

Okay, I think I have the problem figured out. It appears that I have to select stereo mix as the audio and that I need a headset that plugs into the audio jack, not a USB headset. I have ordered a regular headset and will test once I get it.
