I have Cyberlink Media Suite Ultimate 16 / Windows 8.1 (64 bit).

In Task Manager | Startup Tab, I see these 4 services are started up at boot

I know I can rt. click & disable but how do I remove these startup services for PerfectCam, YouCam, PowerDVD18 & MediaLibrary ?

I don't need them started up when I boot, quite happy to start them when I need them.

Thank you in advance (didn't find any related topic in the forum)

PS - The Startup Tab shows "Startup Type" as "Registry" - so I'm guessing I have to mess around in the registry (where ?) to remove them ?

Registry Locations to remove Key/Value pairs:

For PerfectCam -
Location = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run
Key = PerfectCam Service
Value = "C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PerfectCam\PerfectCamService.exe" /s

For YouCam, PowerDVD18 & MediaLibrary -
Location = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/{node name specific to my laptop}/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run

Key = YouCam Service
Value = "C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\YouCam7\YouCamService7.exe" /s

Key = PowerDVD Agent
Value = "C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\PowerDVD18\PowerDVD18Agent.exe"

Key = Cyberlink Media Library Service
Value = "C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\Power2Go11\CLMLSvc_P2G11.exe"

I removed the registry entries 1 at a time and tested manually starting the above apps & all started just fine. These no longer show up as boot time start up processes in my Task Manager | Startup tab. There was a noticeable improvement in boot up time. I wish the installation process would ask if the user wanted to install these apps w/ their boot startup services.
