I purchased PowerDirector a few months ago and find it very intuitive, everything is easily located and the workflows are solid.
I downloaded photodirector on trial to evaluate and find it quite unintuitive. For example, I am really struggling to crop the excess around a framed image. I go to the adjustment tab, I select crop and straighten. There is a yellow lock symbol but clicking it appears to make no difference. When I click it says saving but the lock remains yellow, any attempts to try and crop then fail.
I would have thought this would have been one of the most basic functions in any photo editing program.
Also the endless copying of files and creating virtual copies is extremely confusing.
