Is there any particular reason why I am no longer allowed to produce to other file formats?

Check to see if the Aspect Ratio of your project is set to 9:16 and not say 16:9. Let us know the aspect ratio you selected.

Go back to the Edit page where you see the timeline. At the top left you can see the Aspect Ratio. See this sticky: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/63543.page#post_box_289537 and post a screenshot of your timeline. This will let us determine the possible problem.

By default the 9:16 selection you've selected in PD only supports the limited set of formats your see, if you want the others, you need to use a format other than 9:16.

Thank you for the screenshots. In the Aspect ratio of 9:16 only the MP4 video files is supported and can be produced. If you temporarily change the aspect ratios to 4:3 or 16:9 then all the other file formats are supported. I have not seen cell phone videos in the older wmv, mpeg-2, or avi supported in the 9:16 AR.

MP4 is supported in the 9:16 AR only in all versions of PD.

EDIT: Jeff answered first while I was still typing.

Looks like I misunderstood the earlier post, I thought it HAD to be set to 9:16 to change the formats. Got it, thanks.
