Hey guys,

Pretty easy and dumb question. I just bought PowerDirector and it came with the BOOM SFX folders full of audio clips. I have no idea where to put these folders. Do I place them in the PowerDirector "directory" ?

Wherever makes the most sense to you.

Hello Proxlamus,

Welcome to the AudioDirector forum smile

Philwild is absolutely correct. The BOOM Library Sound FX is simply a folder containing .wav files and can be stored anywhere you wish on your PC. From there, folders or files can be imported into ADR, PDR or any other audio-capable software you use.

You may be interested to know that you can acquire free SFX packs directly from BOOM by signing up to their newsletter.

I have all my SFX stored in C:\Users\PIX\Music\SFX, arranged in sub-folders, but (of course) that's a choice for individuals.
