Hi folks, can u please tell me what “Switching to SDR means? Is it saying, it’s simply not using the power dvd HDR enhancement and I’m still getting HDR to my tv. Just wondering, CyberLink would not say what it meant. Thanks for any help, much appreciated. Also, funny thing is, the Advisor is green on all and I know the mobo is HDR compatible and it is HDMI 2.0. I am using the Asrock z220 Fatal1ty Gaming itx/ac board. I’m not sure why it’s switching to SDR. Thanks for any help.

SDR is that the video is played as SDR video.
It is played in SDR mode on your TV unless your TV has the enhancement feature to upscale the SDR video playback automatically.

Do you read the FAQs for the instruction?

Hi, my tv is fully HDR compatible. I’m thinking it may be the motherboard that’s not HDR compatible. Thanks for any help. I’m using the Asrock z270 Fatal1ty gaming itx/ac board. Thanks.

Update: I found out that my motherboard is fully compatible, it must be a change in PowerDVD, windows or maybe my tv software. Not sure yet.

Update: I reinstalled my intel display drivers and it finally fixed this issue.
