CyberLink Ultra HD Blu-ray Advisor crashes when I attempt to check my PC for anything.

I open the program and it appears correctly but when I pick to test for blu ray or 4k blu ray playback it starts scanning, stops at 60% and then crashes to the desktop and a windows error box appears saying it's checking for a solution and then that closes. Is there any help for this? I searched but couldn't find anything.

same issue (each check[UHD BD, normal BD, 3D BD] crashes the app at 60%)

used version: 2.0.1619.0

used system:
WIndows 10 Pro x64
Intel Core i5-7600K
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
16 GB DDR4 2400
