Since I installed PowerDirector on a new pc (windows 10) when I try to download a template from Director Zone instead of automatically downloading and installing it comes up as 'save as' with a browse for folder window.

Sorry your question hasn't been answered for so long. Not a very nice welcome to the forum. Welcome in any case laughing

The options available when downloading templates will vary, depending on the browser you're using, but they will typically mean either (a) save the file from DZ to your PC to install later or (b) download & install in one step.

It seems like you're using Microsoft Edge, in which case you'll get:

Simply click "Open" to run the installer. "Save" will allow you to keep a backup copy. "Save As" is only necessary for renaming.
