I'm definitely a newbie and I got PowerDirector 15 to edit some videos then realised I had scanned some of my old negatives a while back which are 30-40 years old and thought maybe I could use PhD to enhance them. When I scanned them there is no real white to them and they are very contrasty. I think this maybe a common problem with old negatives as it seems to be across a lot if not all my negs.
Ideally I'd like to know if there is a standard template I could use to correct them.
Have attached a sample neg to show what I mean.
Any thoughts would be appreciated
