Hi there,

I am wondering where earlier DirectorZone title templates are. Titles between approximately 2011 & 2014. I have seen one I quite like but it is not in the current list of titles

A sceenshot is attached.

Thanks for any help with this query.

PS. It could even be in Motion objects or Particles. I'm hoping it is a DirectorZone template.

I found a 4 by 3 similar. Mike's Production Sign here: https://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/7440 It is from 2008 !

Are yiou looking for a 4 by 3 or 16 by 9? Too bad you can't remember the name. Did you download it in the past so that it is on your computer?

Another similar one here: https://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/124374223 . Position your title inside the center frame.

Sorry, it was 16:9. Another video from the same person, had an interesting title also, but it was created using Nero, so i don't know if the one I am looking for was maybe a Nero title, which obviously can't be used with PD15.

Thanks for your reply anyway. IanB

Hello Ian,

Repeated searches on DirectorZone using the terms "cinema", "theatre" and "movie" revealed many hundreds of similar looking templates, but not the particular one in your screenshot.

Searching for similar images outside DZ (i.e. home theatre/cinema setting) also turned up hundreds of possibilities.

I'd suggest either modifying a similar template from DZ or using a new image to create your own template.

Thanks for your reply. If I find that it is a Nero template, could it be adapted for PD15?

Thanks. IanB

Hello Ian,

I have no experience of Nero products, but it's very unlikely there would be any compatibility between Nero & CL templates.

It would be possible to use, say, graphic/video material from a Nero template to create e new template for PDR.

OK, thanks. FWIW I have attached the link to the video concerned. The title sequence goes for about 15 seconds, with an ending at 2:50. It's from a model railway video on YouTube. To the best of my knowledge, there is no copyright.

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPK3V3gc_jU It is in 16:9 format (which I use).

Thanks for all your replies.

Ian

PS: If it is possible, could you or somebody at CL be able to replicate that tile for DZ. I am comfortable using PD15, but not creating titles or menus.

That is indeed a Nero template from one of their theme packs. It's made up of video sequences with titles overlaid.

Video sequences cannot be used to create title templates for PowerDirector. If you were able to get the video sequences, you'd need to insert them in, say, Track 1 with titles placed in Track 2 to overlay the videos.
