Uncheck - Display MediaEspresso Gadget icon in the system tray at startup.

I have the same issue - the icon is NOT in the system tray but looks like a floating icon on the desktop - just like when Instant Burn is active, right? If you look in Task Manager, the program is running as an application under the process/file DeviceDetector7.5.exe. kill the process and the icon goes away, but reboot and it returns. There's nothing in Startup folders; nothing in startup in the registry. Where else could it be?

Hi,

The icon on the desktop can easily be hidden. Just look for the similar looking icon in the system tray and right click on it and then Deselect the MediaEspresso Gadget option. Then open it again and select "Edit" to close it.

See the attached screen shot for more info.

You can use system control panel to uninstall it the icon will automatically remove. Or simply you can use delete option to hide icon.
