Is it another victim of Microsoft Windows 10 KB4013429 update?

I got MediaEspresso 7.5 for Windows (patched v8617) and now when I try to open it I get a message popup saying that application has stopped responding.

I found out that the recent Microsoft Windows 10 update KB4013429 makes applications crash, but I'm not really sure. What do you suggest?

I have the same issue. I actually had 7.0 with the problem and then bought 7.5 and installed it and still had the problem. Installed the latest patch and still have the problem. I then Googled CompPkgSup.DLL and found many hits where numerous applications are failing due to this DLL. It looks like a recent Microsoft update on Windows 10 is the culprit. I have yet to find an official solution from Microsoft or Cyberlink.

Hope a cyberlink patch is forthcoming as I fear the windows update is just going to reinstall itself again.

Microsoft patch 03/20/2017 KB4015438 solved the problem. MediaEspresso works fine right now.
