Building a Library of Images for Everyone

Hi everyone,

I've been building a library of images that you are welcome to use in
your projects. They might be useful under titles, for visual effects or
anything else you can think of. They are all original...all my own work.
All I ask is to be attributed as indicated on my homepage:

http://soundimage.org/

The images are on my "TXR" pages (for "Textures.")

I'm adding new ones all the time, so be sure to check back often. I
sincerely hope that some of them are useful. Any and all constructive
feedback is welcome and always appreciated. :

All the best,

Eric

Greetings!

I've uploaded about 150 new texture images, seamless and standard.
As always, feel free to edit as needed. You'll find them here:

Paper textures (for maps, backgrounds, etc.) are on their way as
well. Hopefully I'll have a brand new page full of them by next week.

I've just uploaded over 100 new stone and metal texture images, standard
and seamless, that I took at a couple of archaeological sites over the
weekend. I think a lot of the stone textures could work well for
VFX....(castles and other structures.) You'll find them here:

Greetings!

I've uploaded about 100 new fabric texture images on my TXR -
FABRIC page. They are all seamless, 2048X2048 and ready for tiling. New
fabric types include Leather, Rayon, Metal Linens, Dyed Acrylics and
various weaves. They might be useful in VFX for clothes for characters,
furniture coverings, carpets, or anything else you can think of. You'll
find them here:

I hope some of them are useful! :

Hi everyone,

I shot and uploaded some new concrete images...wet, moldy ones...blech! Might be useful for old water-damaged buildings, statues, etc.

Brand new sound effects and music tracks are on their way as well...I'll be posting those on Thursday on my other thread. In the meantime, if you want daily updates as I create new assets, they are here:

This week’s new seamless textures are all fantasy textures:

TXR - METAL - Seamless
Some grungy textures…perhaps for urban-based structures or sci-fi things?
https://soundimage.org/txr-metal-seamless/

TXR – ROCK / STONE – Fantasy
These don’t exist in reality but are combinations of other images that I’ve created.

Have a good week and keep being creative!

Hi guys,

I’m in the middle of a big project, but I managed to get
some new free textures done for everyone. They are on the following
pages:

TXR – BRICK - Seamless

Some new fantasy cobblestone images. Maybe useful for paths and roads in fantasy-based games?

https://soundimage.org/txr-brick-seamless/

TXR - ABSTRACT

Some new abstract textures. Maybe for sci-fi projects?

https://soundimage.org/txr-abstract/

Enjoy!

Greetings fellow creatives,

If anyone is interested, I was recently asked to do an interview for a
website called Exilian. Hopefully my answers were entertaining and
(somewhat) intelligent…lol. Here’s a link if anyone wants to check it
out:

https://exilian.co.uk/articles.php

That said, this week’s cool new textures are on the following pages:

TXR – BRICK - Seamless

Some really interesting brick textures.

https://soundimage.org/txr-brick-seamless/

TXR – ROCK/STONE – Seamless

Some new stone textures that could be used for old roads, paths, castles, etc. Some have grass between the stones, too.

https://soundimage.org/txr-rockstone-seamless/

More music is on its way as well as some cool new city ambient sounds.

Keep being creative!

Hey everyone,

For those of you who have been using my original
music in your projects, I’ve had a good number of requests for
uncompressed versions of my tracks, so I’ve begun making them available
on Gumroad for a small fee to help support the site. The MP3 files that I
make freely available sound very good, but the original uncompressed
WAV files really sound incredible…give them a try!

If anyone is
curious as to why I didn’t upload WAV files onto my site to begin with,
the reason is that my web hosting service places limitations on file
sizes and WAV files tend to be very large.

Anyhow, it’s going to
take some time to upload everything, so if anyone has any requests for
WAV versions of tracks you happen to like, just drop me an email and
I’ll upload them to Gumroad for you. Feel free to convert to Ogg (or any
format you like.)

That said, this week’s new free textures are on the following pages:

TXR – BRICK - Seamless
These might be really nice for castles.
https://soundimage.org/txr-brick-seamless/

TXR – WOOD – Seamless
Perhaps for old doors, structures, barrels or other things.
https://soundimage.org/txr-wood-seamless/

More music and ambient sounds coming this week.

Enjoy and keep being creative!
