I just purchased an HP Spectre x2 convertible 12", Intel core m3-6Y30 CPU @ 0.90GHz, 128GB SSD (hopefully a good buy).

Seeing as how it doesn't have a DVD drive/burner, I will be buying an external one.

My question - Should I go with USB 2 or USB 3. I know speed depends on computer limits.

Any ideas welcomed.

Get the usb 3.1 one for speed and futureproofing.

Thanks. Now I need to decide which one. Looked @ Panasonic that has Cyberlink software included but quite a few not too good reviews on the software.
