power dvd cant play blurays

Hello, i have a powerdvd 12 version oem, this versions came whith samsung SE-506CB external bluray player.

After install it, i upgrade the last path, and when i try to play a bluray they say me that the reproduction has stopped because the graphic controller is incompatible.

I have a laptop and intel gma x3100 integrated graphic card, but according this cyberlink link this card is compatible whith bluray: http://www.cyberlink.com/eng/press_room/view_1373.html

After that i check in BD advisor and this tool say me that i can play bluray in basic mode.

I have the latest intel gma driver for windows 10 8.15.10.2697.

What can i do to see blurays?

  1. This issue happens only when you've updated the software or it was always like this?

  2. What about the graphic controller? was this issue reproducibale befor you updated it or not?

Ok, i have fresh news.
i was thinking that maybe the problem was the S.O
Now i have w10x64 ultimate and this graphic card is not longer supported by Intel, but Windows install the latest compatible driver.
So i made a partition in my disck and i installed Windows 7x64.This S.O. is the latest supported by my graphic card and there are few drivers in Intel website.
Ok i install again cyberlink power dvd and still having the problem.

The problem is always, before and after update the software.

As i said i have the same problem in Windows 10 and Windows 7.
I dont think boht S.O. are incompable whith my graphic card so what happend?

Yes, i updated the software this morning, the last powerdvd 12 path, but the problem still in both Windows 10x64 and Windows 7 x32.
I only can play whith software called Leawo bluray player.
It can play blurays but the reproduction has lags.
At least it Works better than powerdvd

Hi Jose Carlos01,

I suggest you to try this steps:

  1. Turn off TrueTheater enhancement, and turn on hardware acceleration in PowerDVD 12 video settings.

  2. Decrease Windows screen resolution to 1920 x 1080 or lower.


If condition persists, so please contact CS support with:

  1. Screenshot of driver incompatible message.

  2. DxDiag


The latest production VGA driver released for your graphic card is in 2013 which is not compatible with Windows 10. We may continue to check the case on Windows 7 platform.

I turned off TrueTheater but i can turn on hardware acceleration because graphic card has not hardware acceleration.
Windows screen resolutiones ins 1280x800 and now i only try in Windows 7x32, is the last S.O. whith Intel support driver.

I have exactly the same result.
I send CS support a mail and i hope they can help me.
When i have your reply i will post here.
I suspect there are something in Windows process who make the problema.
Yesterday i had some tests disabling Windows services and i had a different message
