I attempted to use lens correction for a little fisheye from my wide angle lenses.

I added -15 correction.

The shoot was in AVCHD60i, but no matter what profile I attempted they always came out warped and weird,

Interlace artifacts so bad it's unusable. Anyone try this yet? HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.
Tape capture using 6 VCR, TBC-1000, Elite BVP4+, Sony D8 camcorder with TBC.

Closeup or macro video will most like introduce the barrel distortion while distant shots may have the pincushion type distortion. To correct the fisheye one need to apply a + , not a - number to correct that. Attached is a video showing the difference between the + and - correction. Look at the straight lines of the building and the light poles.

The attached video is an original avchd 1080/60i at 17 Mbpsi. There is no problem with the interlacing that I could see. Creating a progressive video from an interlaced one can be a problem. Users who do that may be able to answer your second issue better.

Try producing my attached video to whatever format or profile you want and post back the bad interlace artifacts here for all of us to see.

Let us know if any on this helps...frownsmile
