Adjust video keys does not work during capture vhs tape

I want to creat dvd from vhs tape.Iam using power director12.By capyuring Powerdirector video audio signal were good.Iwant to correct color vhs tape.I went in setting.Isaw there adjust video keys brightness hue saturation etc. These keys were dim and and stil position.these keys did not work.My mouse curserdid not move these keys. How ican use these keys.My operating system is Windows7 64bit with Asus tuner video card.

Highlight a video clip first. Click the Fix/Enhance icon and those adjustments should not be grayed out. If they are then you probably got an oem version of powerdirector. Click on the word PowerDirector in the upper right of the screen and tell us the version number and build.

It is Powerdirector 12.0.2930.0.The problem is in Capturing field.My Vcr vhs tape is playing on Powerdirector.Iwant correct color of my vhs.When I clicked seeting.Anew menu appeard.There i saw adjust video.Iclicked it and saw Brightness hue saturation contrastand sharpness keys.I clicekd for less or more brightness and saturation but they did not move.What I can do.

Those adjustments can not be made for capturing video. They can only be made after the video is captured as far as I know. Haven't done any analog capture on PD12. You might want to check if the Asus tuner card have a capture utility.

I checked these adjustments on my friend pc Xp 32bit operating system.These work properly without any hurdle.Why not work on Windows7.

Just backing up what Tomasc has said. You cannot make any adjustments to your video during the capture process. It is only after the capture process is completed and the captured "clip" is brought into the timeline for editing that any adjustments to brightness, contrast and colour can be made.
