so, I love the fact that PD puts a green check next to any media already used in the timeline, but is there any way to filter to so all I see is media that has NOT been used yet? I've got over 150 images and want to quickly be able to see any photos that I have not used yet. There does not seem to be a an easy way to do this, is there?

Thanks.

Hi chadg5058 -

There's no easy way to do that, apart from noting the lack of green check marks.

You can filter the Media Library in a few different ways - All Media, Videos, Photos, Audio - by selecting from the dropdown menu at the top (under the word Produce).

You can also sort your library by name, date, files size etc - but not by used/unused In the same menu (the little squares icon), you can remove all unused media, but that doesn't help you at all.

One thing that might help (might!) is to remove all used files from the library, so you're only left with the (so far) unused ones.

Cheers - Tony

You can set up folders (PDR calls them "tags") in the Media Room. Drag and drop the check-marked ones into a folder, etc... Mike B.

Thanks for the advice. The folder or tag thing in interesting, but seems like it would be very cumbersome. I would have to tag all images as unused, then every time I drag it in I would also have to untag it. I guess it would work, but I would think it would be a pretty easy feature to add. I'm surprised no one wanted something like this before.....

Thanks again.

Agreed. It is cumbersome and not really what you need. What you are asking for seems so obvious. It would be a very useful feature. Mike B.
