Lagging Mouse

Recently for some reason, when I open PD12, my mouse starts lagging, moving in lower frames it appears. Not sure what's causing it but it's very annoying. Please help.

Edit 10/28/14:
Here's a video showing what happens when I launch PD12. Watch the mouse. It might not be as noticeable with the framerate at 30fps, but the mouse definitely starts to lag when any PD12 project starts up:

Take a look in "task manager". Check the processor % usage. Something is probably using more than it's share.

PD12 Is using up roughly around 30-35%. Then the PDHanumanSvr Application uses up to 20%. I notice that the percentages go down when I don't actually have the PD12 window up front. I think it might have something to do with my NVIDIA drivers after reading the NVIDIA drivers thread. I'll try downgrading my drivers and see what happens.

So I downgraded my drivers, tried it out again and it's still lagging. Could it just be because the movie file I'm opening has a lot of videos and other stuff in it? I feel like my PC should be able to handle it.
I have 16gb of RAM, NVIDIA GTX 660, and an AMD FX-6300 six-core processor.

I actually "fix" the drivers issue, so you don't need to downgrade if you follow my posted instructions.

However in your case it might be something else.

I had the same problem. Then I downloaded the patch for the program and it was fine.

Sorry for the late response, but I tried using PD12 again and the problem still hasn't gone away. I've tried using the CUDA Encoder and downgrading my drivers, but the mouse still lags every time. I really hope to get this fixed.
Could it have to do with having two internal hard drives?
Another edit, here's a video showing what happens when I start up PD12. The lagging mouse might not be as noticeable in this:

Sorry for the bump, but no one is responding and it's basically impossible for me to edit any videos with my mouse acting like this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Assuming it's a USB mouse, did you try to plug the cord (or the receiver, if it's wireless) into another port? Mike B.

With PD running in idle, my cpu is 1%.

Do you have any other programs or scans running?

I tried plugging the mouse into another port, still the same. It doesn't work when plugged into the USB 3.0 ones.
And PDHanumanSVR seems to take up the most, 20-40% of the CPU. everything else remains below 2%. Occasionally, a few will rise up and then go back down, including the Service Host: Local System and maybe PD12 and my internet browser.
In terms of memory, PD12 takes of the most, 359.2 MB. Then there's the Service Host as 89.3 MB, Antimalware Service at 77 MB, and then Razer Synapse at 66 MB.

This started happening when I got my new computer. I transferred my ram and hard drive over from the old one to this one, and I got a newer graphics card and processor. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Wireless? Don't use a hub; plug it directly into the nearest USB port - perhaps on front of the box.

In PD, check and UNcheck the choices under EDIT|PREFERENCES|HARDWARE - just as a test.

In Control Panel|MOUSE|POINTER OPTIONS try various mouse acceleration settings.

Sure. More details needed. Did you swap the system drive directly from the old to the new? Mike B.

This post is old, but it might give a clue.

Are you using "shadow files"? Try turning them off.

Oh wow, that's all I had to do. I did that before and nothing changed but I hadn't thought to actually restart PD12. I did that and it's working now. Thank you so much!
