Advice on how to save clips after editing a clip with content aware

I have started using selected and unselected in Content Aware to edit clips and to try to get rid of poor scenes.

I tried to do it as described in the PD 17 Manual.

Here I have deselected:

Here I have pressed the arrow to the right of “deselected”.

Once I have selected and deselected and the scenes appear in the appropriate column, I then press OK, save and close the program.

If I open the project again, theré is no evidence that any editing/selecting was done.

What am I doing wrong?

After you click OK does the Selected video appear on the Timeline?

If it does, you must save the project file after content aware has finished.

When you recall the Project file, the edited clips will be back on the timeline.

Thanks a lot!
I think what I did wrong was to load all the clips on the storyboard and then edited with content aware. I now leave the timeline open, select and deselect and then press OK. The selected area appears on the timeline.
