Hi;

I am still waiting for tech support to answer my official request for help.

The issues with: : CyberLink_Power2Go9_Platinum_P2G140123-01.exe

1) When I install this upgrade (from it goes into an endless loop of installing the label program. I had to use Task Manager to stop this.
2) The rest of the install seems to go OK.
3) First start-up, the product key screen appears. Oddly one field, after typing in the characters, does not automatically jump to the next one. Problem?
4) Then the major issue: an error message tells me my screen resolution and DPI are not acceptable.

My system: Dell XPS 8500 running Windows 8.1 with the latest drivers and updates.
Video Card: nVidia GT 640
Display: LG 47LM6400-UA
Screen settings: 1020p, 1920X1080 60 Hz, 32 bit

P2G 8 worked fine with this setup. ALSO the new install of YouCam 6, has the same screen error message. All the other new products purchased at the same time, downloaded, installed and run fine: PowerDVD 14 Ultra, MediaShow 6, Photo Director 3.

Problems Resolved!

I should have checked back with my 'support ticket' before posting this message.

Tech Support gave simple to follow instructions, that solved the issues immediately.

Thanks Saba!

OH: to answer the following reply - 1080p is a set of HDTV high-definition video modes characterized by 1080 horizontal lines of vertical resolution and progressive scan, as opposed to interlaced, as is the case with the 1080i display standard. The nVidia Control Panel lists available screen resolutions in the format beginning with this standard, followed by the pixel resolution such as 1920X1080. For my system to play 3D games the setting is 720p, 1280X720 24Hz

Hi,
I was thinking to buy power2go 9 platinum to make some
dvd from vacation, but I don't know how many video files can the software hold because most of my video clips were
under 1 minute and I have about 200 total. Thanks in advance for your help.

No. power2go 9 can hold 99 seperate video files at most.
You should use power director instead.

Thank you for the info. I never got any error message at all, just the loop. Took care of the problem by getting a refund and wiping it off my HD manually. Never registered in control panel to use the uninstall feature.
