why does my power director 9 crash ?
half way through editing - windows says power director not responding.

anyone help -please

Hi, Necker. This advice is based on something I read elsewhere on this forum and it may be valid here as well. It may well have something to do with the computer on which you have your PD9 installed. Video editing takes a heck of a lot out of computers and yours really needs to be up to the job. apparently it isn't. You need a sizeable amount of RAM memory and a good-size hard-drive to save your work, even if you're still using Windows XP. A good high-capacity external hard-drive may also be handy to offload content out of your "My Videos" file to keep ample free space on your inbuilt hard-drive. A word or two with the person or company which services your computer might be the best conversation you'll have in this regard.
