Not sure why this forum even exists. Looking at mine & other past posts , other than a you-need-to-spend-more-$$ response , this forum is useless.

I also sent my question to Cyberlink's so called customer support. It received the same amount of attention it received here...ZERO.

Hi..

I have just installed Pwer Producer 4.0 and trying to capture my VHS movies.. It captures but no sound either while recording or playing back. I have XP not Vista..

Can any one help..Please..

My PC sound is fine it works with other softwares.

You probably need to go to your "recording properties" & select (check the box) the correct one. You can get there by double-clicking on your "volume" icon in your system tray (lower right of your screen). Or use Control Panel-Sounds and Audio Devices-Volumes-Advanced-Playback Control-Options-Properties & choose "Recording" then "Okay". Then you choose your default device for recording. If your choice is incorrect you will not get sound in any recording(s).
