Hello,
I currently have a new computer with cyberlink software is preinstalled. What are the advantages and disadvantages if I register the software or not.

What have you got to lose? You may however, get more sales pitches that you want. Any OEM software is supported by the hardware manufacturer so any fixes or notices should come from them. .
