Now I've upgraded my graphics card from HP's 1/2 GB to a 2GB ASUS GEFORCE GTX 650, (which required more power and I installed a 650-Watt P.S.), I find no particular improvement. It runs OK if I pick the Preview Quality of "High Preview Resolution" or lower. Any higher setting and the display slows and jerks over transitions, especially if the next photo has had lighting and some color adjustments. Sometimes the display will not change as it tries to show the magic motion of that adjusted photo. That resolution is below what I can see in the final burned DVD, so it's important to me to see that in the preview playback before burning.
What do I need to do to enjoy PD11 like I feel I should? Purchase an industrial $5000 PC to overcome this problem? But I think my HP PC has sufficient power to do the job.
Any suggestions? (Sigh.)
