produce breathtaking 4K movies on disc or publish online right from your desktop.

I do not see any options for 2k or 4k in produce. Could this be because I have a 32-bit Windows? I have no delusions that my computer could handle it. I was just looking at options and did not see those listed. I do have Ultra. __________________________________

It might have something to do with 32 bit as I have Win7 64bit and have the option under H.264 AVC of 4096 X 2304/50p (50 Mbps)

I would hate to think though how much I would have to upgrade my computer to handle that resolution at a reasonable pace.

Hi,
I wouldn't worry too much about the 4K videos...not many people I know can afford the TV's or the capable players (not out yet(?)). the TV (monitors coming but with HEFTY price tag cheapest here $21000...not on my pension..

I can find no reference to 2K & 4K output options not being available in 32-bit versions. Comparison tables & FAQs state these as options in PD Ultimate & Ultra, but not Deluxe.

http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdirector/comparison_en_AU.html?&r=1
http://www.cyberlink.com/prog/support/cs/product-faq-content.do?id=14953&prodId=4&prodVerId=977

The user guide draws no distinction between 64 & 32-bit versions in this respect.

On my PD11, under Produce, the are 2K & 4K options under AVC, MPEG-4 & MKV.

Cheers - Tony

2K/4K/3D* video editing profile: Intel Corei7 or AMD Phenom II X4 with 64 bit OS 6 GB RAM

This is what I am looking at, but it also lists 3D, which I do seem to have available. I assume it is for the larger memory requirements and the fact that 32-bit OS only has 4GB max. It is not important at this point. I was just curious. __________________________________

Unless you are showing your videos on a jumbo-tron, of what use is a resolution that high? Jerry Schwartz

Like I said, I was just poking around and curious why I could not find it, but as a matter of fact I am trying to get a near by film school to work with me on a short film hoping the local theaters will play it between movies. __________________________________

Hi James,
You have an interesting "project" in mind for the 4K. Please let me know how you get on.

CyberLink saw your post and your assessment regarding the limitation due to 32bit is correct.

Dafydd
